Salad Plant

Salad Plant
The Salad Plant ($25)... well, imagine a set of salad serving utensils camouflaged to look like a regular potted plant. The green melamine salad servers stand upright like leaves in a flower pot that also doubles as a mixing or serving dish for salad dressings or toppings. Will go perfectly with the equally leafy Flora - Pure Silicone Spoon and Spatula Set. Weird.

Hotman trivet

Hotman trivet
Take your frustrations in the kitchen out on this trivet shaped like a man holding up your hot pot while lying on his back. For me, it's a little painful to look at - but it may make a good gift for the person in your life who's just slightly sadistic.

Mr. & Mrs. Jones Juicers

Mr. & Mrs. Jones Juicers
Designed and made in rural Kent, ceramicist Polly George's pure and simple white shapes are the trade mark of her studio. Polly slip casts and then individually decorates each item with hand applied details. The glaze is then hand dipped giving each item their own individual character ensuring no two are ever exactly the same.
No better wedding gift exists. A happy couple given to a happy couple is the best sort of best wish. The Jones are also the perfect housewarming present. They'll keep the head chef company and entertain guests at a dinner party. For two characters that don't speak they are masters at starting conversation! And if you need to squeeze small fruits like limes & lemons they have a head for that too!

Poached Eggs the Easy Way: Calphalon Egg Poacher

Poached Eggs the Easy Way: Calphalon Egg Poacher
Poaching eggs is foolproof with this well-designed pan. Its six perforated nonstick cups cook eggs gently and uniformly while maintaining an attractive round shape. Loop handles allow you to remove the individual eggs once they’re cooked to each diner’s preference. Thanks to the domed glass lid, it’s easy to monitor poaching progress. With the poaching cups removed, the nonstick hard-anodized aluminum pan is also useful for low-fat frying and sautéing.

Anamorphic Cups

Anamorphic Cups
The Anamorphic Cup is the first product to employ the centuries old visual play of the anamorphic cylinder.
The stainless steel cup has a polished mirror finish. The porcelain saucer is printed with distorted images or words. These graphics can only be viewed correctly though the curved, reflective surface of the cup. The image is indecipherable when the cup and saucer are separate.

Soap Bank

Soap Bank from DesigNoDoubt

Getting every last bit of soap from a bar to do its job can be tricky; the smaller it gets, the harder it is to handle those slick little buggers. Instead of trying to mash them together, or into a new bar, the Korean design team DesigNoDoubt has a solution: just deposit it into the bank. Their "Soap Bank" is a slick little device that collects and helps you get your money's worth from the small remains of soap. When your bar gets too small to get a good grip on, just drop it in the slot and give the bag a rub when you need some soapy goodness. Cha-ching!
The Bank is designed to stick on any interior shower wall (it's a suction cup) and the top is a good place to keep you soap until it's small enough to fit in the bank. It might be the only time it's convenient to drop the soap. Get cleaned up with more pics below the fold. ::DesigNoDoubt via ::Yanko Design
